September 2009 hello, i'm an italian football fan and i'm interested at the origin of football teams could you tell me about the origin of the Amira shirt? why the club adopted red and black colours? thanks. Gianfranco Ciao Gianfranco ! Some informations about our history: The traditional colours of SC Admira Wien and SC Wacker Wien were black and white. 1971 the two Clubs fusioned, now named FC Admira-Wacker. 1998 Admira-Wacker fusioned (because of financial crash) again, now with Vfb Mödling. The colours of Mödling were red and white, the new Club Vfb Admira-Wacker-Mödling chosed the black-white-red Shirts. And at least, 2008 the Owner of SC Schwadorf (Trenkwalder) put his license to the second time crashed Club and kept the Colours of now official VfB Trenkwalder Admira-Wacker-Mödling, red-white-black. You can see, our tradition is - to break with traditions. Ok, we can be happy that the name Admira is still a part of the official Club name. Some of us are not happy about the colours, you can unterstand, but I for myself like them. But better, to be honest, I would like old black&white, because my family always supported Admira from grandfathers on. But I was born 4 days after fusion with Wacker, so I am a real Admira-Wacker Boy. Mr. Weiss (Mödling) and Mr. Trenkwalder helped to continue the Colours and the Name of Admira and Wacker, so I think it is ok to respect, that they put in the Name of their City/Company. 0 Zitieren Diesen Beitrag teilen Link zum Beitrag Auf anderen Seiten teilen
